JVS20-307-Bicycle-Patrol

On Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 0900, in a proactive effort to reduce crime in the area, deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Station Problem Oriented Policing Team conducted high visibility bicycle patrol and enforcement within Jurupa Valley’s Mission Blvd. business district.

The saturation patrol was organized in direct response to an increase number of calls for service and complaints generated by citizens related to panhandling, theft, trespassing, narcotics usage, vandalism, illegal food vendors and other quality of life concerns.

During their enforcement, deputies contacted numerous subjects around the city. In total, 8 citations were issued, and two people were arrested and booked into the Riverside County Jail (Robert Presley Detention Center), for the listed charges or issued notices to appear:

1.    Kenneth Holsapple, 63-year old, resident of Jurupa Valley, parole violation and two outstanding drug warrants. 

2.    Rudy Neitz, 63-year old, resident of Jurupa Valley, Outstanding domestic violence warrant.
