Details: 

On November 13, 2019, at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Perris Station and Marijuana Enforcement Team, with the assistance of the California Water Board and Riverside County Code Enforcement, served four marijuana cultivation search warrants in the unincorporated county area known as Nuevo, During the service of the search warrants, 1,098 plants and 5 pounds of processed marijuana were collected for a total of approximately 905 pounds. One shotgun was also seized.

Three suspects were contacted and determined to be culpable in the marijuana cultivation occurring on their respective properties:

               63-year-old Nuevo resident Luis Cisneros
               23-year-old Nuevo resident Juan Salais
               19-year-old Nuevo resident Jaquelin Sabalsa

Charges will be filed with the District Attorney’s Office for Marijuana Cultivation and Possession of Marijuana for Sale.
