Details:

On Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2:52 PM deputies assigned to Moreno Valley Station’s School Resource Unit responded to a call for service at Valley View High School regarding a student possessing and distributing child pornographic images. The investigation revealed a 15-year old male student had obtained an illicit photo of an under-age female student without her consent. The male then sent the illicit photo to several students within the city. The photo was verified as a real photo which was obtained without the victim’s knowledge.

The male student was subsequently arrested and later booked into Riverside County Juvenile Hall on charges of 311.1 PC possession of child Pornography and 647 (j)(4) PC Intentionally distributing images without consent.

Riverside Sheriff’s Department worked alongside Moreno Valley Unified School District to ensure the victim’s identity was protected and all images known were seized for evidence.
