On November 19, 2019 deputies assigned to the Moreno Valley Station’s School Resource Unit investigated allegations of juveniles provided alcohol while attending an after-school program. The after-school program is provided by THINK Together, a non-profit, state funded after school program that utilizes school campuses to care for children in the program and is not staffed by employees from the Moreno Valley Unified School District or the City of Moreno Valley.

The investigation revealed on November 8, 2019 an employee of THINK Together identified as Justin Love, 19 of Moreno Valley, brought alcohol onto the school campus while he worked caring for the children attending the THINK Together program. During the after-school program, Love provided alcohol to at least one identified minor. Love was arrested in Corona on November 19, 2019 and booked into Robert Presley Detention Center for 25608 B&P Possession of Alcohol on a school campus and 25658 B&P Furnishing Alcohol to a minor.
