On September 28, 2023, at 4:30 p.m., the Palm Desert Station’s Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) investigated multiple burglaries that occurred on September 13, 2023, in the 40000 block of Harris Lane in Palm Desert. During their investigation, they identified the suspect as Zachary Bulva, a 35-year-old transient of Bermuda Dunes. With the assistance of the Palm Desert Business District Team, deputies located Bulva and placed him under arrest. Bulva was later booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in Indio for burglary.
