On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force conducted a parole check of a vehicle parked in the 79000 block of Country Club Drive in Bermuda Dunes. During the vehicle check, Task Force Officers arrested Adryn Hernandez, 18 of La Quinta after he was found to have a loaded 9mm Glock handgun concealed on his person. Task Force Officers located a .357 Colt revolver in the vehicle which they determined belonged to David Perez Jr., 38 of Indio.  Perez Jr. was also arrested. Hernandez was charged with Possession of a Concealed Firearm and Perez Jr. was charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Both were booked at the Indio Jail.
