Between March 5 and March 13, 2024, San Jacinto High School received multiple bomb threats. On every incident, deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station, along with the Riverside Sheriff’s Hazardous Device Team, conducted thorough searches of the school premises for any suspicious devices, but no threats were found. Sheriff’s investigators assumed the investigation and identified a 16-year-old from Dyer, Tennessee, as one of the subjects responsible for one of the bomb threats. A report was taken and forwarded to the proper authorities in Tennessee for prosecution. Investigators are currently working on identifying the subjects responsible for two additional threats.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office has a zero-tolerance policy for these offenses. When these suspect(s) are identified, they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
