On Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 5:42 p.m., deputies assigned to the Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station responded to the 3700 block of Harvill Lane in the unincorporated area of Corona known as Home Gardens regarding a disturbance. Callers reported females asking for help. Upon arrival, deputies contacted two females and learned an unknown male had sexually assaulted them. Deputies located the suspect, Alexander Armenta, a 45-year-old of Jurupa Valley, and booked him into the Robert Presley Detention Center on two counts of attempted rape.
