Update: Suspect Arrested 12-3-2019

Central Homicide Unit investigators continued the investigation in to this case and were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Adrian Barroso, 19 years old out of Riverside. On Monday, December 2, 2019, Barroso was taken into custody and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for murder.

Details:

On Thursday, October 3, 2019, at 6:21 PM, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded the 1300 Block of Center Street in the unincorporated area of Riverside County, known as High Grove reference a call of a shooting.   

Deputies arrived at the scene and found two males suffering from gunshot wounds. One of these males was transported to a local hospital where he received care for his injuries. The second male was found to be a juvenile and died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The Riverside County Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation.
