Details: 

On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 5:36 a.m., Perris Station deputies responded to the 28000 block of Richfield Circle in the city of Menifee regarding a report of domestic violence. During the investigation, deputies learned there was a large cache of weapons and explosive devices inside the residence.  A restraining order was obtained prohibiting the suspect, Timothy Rarick, a 56 year-old Menifee resident, from possessing firearms, ammunition, or magazines.

The Perris Station Investigations Bureau assumed the investigation. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Hazardous Device Team responded to the residence and recovered seven improvised explosive devices. Perris Station investigators recovered 15 guns and several thousand rounds of ammunition in various stages of assembly. Rarick was arrested for domestic violence, criminal threats, and possession of an explosive device in a residence. He was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
