On Thursday, December 26, 2019, approximately 12:40 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a reported burglary in progress. When deputies arrived, several large storage containers on the property showed signs of forced entry. The property was searched with the assistance of the Sheriff’s K-9 Unit. Cory James Williams (33 years, residing in Meadowbrook) was located in the area and was detained. Deputies discovered Williams was in possession of stolen property and narcotics. Williams is currently on felony probation for a prior possession of stolen property case. He was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
