On Monday, January 6, 2020, at approximately 3:51 P.M., deputies from the Perris Station received a report of a suspicious circumstance call in the 4300 Block of Candelaria Way, in the city of Perris. The reporting party stated they have not seen their neighbor for several days and a steady flow of water coming out of the residence, flooding the neighboring yards.
Deputies responded to the scene and gained access to the residence to check the welfare of the residents. While checking the residence, deputies located a large indoor Marijuana grow. Deputies secured the water leak and determined no one was inside the residence.
Investigators from the Marijuana Eradication Team (MET) responded to the location and executed a search warrant. During the service of the warrant in excess of 2000 Marijuana plants were seized.
