Details:

On the morning of January 7, 2020, deputies assigned to the Perris Station investigated a vehicle burglary which occurred on the 1900 block of Driftwood Court in the city of Perris. The victim reported his work truck was broken into and estimated $1,500.00 worth of tools were stolen.  Later in the day, deputies from Patrol, the Perris Problem Oriented Policing and Special Enforcement Team learned the stolen tools were being sold on a popular social networking website. Deputies contacted the seller who agreed to sell the tools for $800.00. Deputies working in an undercover capacity met with the person selling the tools and an additional male who drove him to the location. The males were later identified as Colton resident Isaac Campos, and Perris resident Charles Tesconi.
