On January 9, 2019, at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Perris Station and Marijuana Enforcement Team, with the assistance of Riverside County Code Enforcement, served two marijuana cultivation search warrants in the unincorporated county area known as Nuevo.  During the service of the search warrants, 1772 plants were collected for a total of approximately 722 pounds.  One pistol was also seized. 

One suspect was arrested for marijuana cultivation:

  • 58-year-old Nuevo resident Victor Roman
