On January 21, 2020 at approximately 00:52 A.M., Riverside County Sheriff’s Department deputies, assigned to the city of Menifee, were dispatched to the Walgreens store located at Newport Road and Menifee Road to investigate a disturbance.  Several citizens called Sheriff’s Dispatch and said a subject had driven his vehicle into the doors of the business and then entered the business and started breaking items.  Deputies arrived within two minutes and detained the suspect who was identified as Preston Quine of Menifee.  The deputies contacted the employees in the store who had locked themselves inside a backroom.  The incident was captured on the store’s video system.  The video showed Quine drove his vehicle to the front doors of the business, he then ran into the Walgreens and proceeded to vandalize their sales equipment and product displays.

Quine was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Driving on a Suspended License and Felony Vandalism. Quine was transported to the hospital for medical treatment and then booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Facility.  This is Quine’s second arrest for Driving Under the Influence in the past year.
