The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station, in cooperation with a local business, conducted an educational program regarding driving under the influence of alcohol. One goal of the program, titled “Know Your Limit,” is to educate patrons about how each drink affected their level of intoxication.

With the cooperation of Applebee’s Bar and Grill, officers were allowed inside the establishment and offered patrons the opportunity to participate in the program.

Patrons are provided with educational materials and given the opportunity to take a voluntary alcohol screening test. After the tests, information regarding their level of intoxication and possible impairment were given to the participants.

The operation was conducted between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM. A total of 28 people participated in the event. Through its cooperation with this program, Applebee’s Bar and Grill has shown their commitment to the safety of their patrons and the community.

The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s wishes to remind you that if you choose to drink alcoholic beverages, please designate a sober driver before getting into a vehicle.
