On Friday, January 31st, 2020, at 6:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force with the assistance of Riverside County Sheriff’s Department SWAT, served a search warrant at a residence in the 81000 block of Green Avenue in Indio.  The search warrant stemmed from an investigation into a robbery that occurred on December 24th, 2019 at a business located in the 72000 block of Varner Road in Thousand Palms.  During the service of the search warrant Task Force Officers arrested documented gang member, Daniel Chavez Rodriguez, 18 of Indio, for Robbery.  Chavez was transported to Indio Jail where he was booked.
