On February 3, 2020, at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, California Water Board, and the Riverside County Code Enforcement served four marijuana cultivation related search warrants in the unincorporated county area known as Homeland. During the service, approximately 4749 marijuana plants were eradicated and 43 pounds of processed marijuana was collected, for a total combined weight of approximately one ton. Three firearms, (two rifles and one handgun), were collected for evidence. A records check revealed one of the rifles had been reported stolen. Two tractors and five generators were also collected. Approximately one liter of the highly toxic pesticide Carbofuran was located at one of the properties.
The following suspects were arrested and booked:
- 29-year-old Isidro Orozco for Marijuana Cultivation, Illegal Discharge at Marijuana Grow & Possession of Stolen Property
- 22-year-old Alex Cajija for Marijuana Cultivation, Illegal Discharge at Marijuana Grow & Possession of Stolen Property
- 61-year-old David Biddle for Marijuana Cultivation & Illegal Discharge at Marijuana Grow
- 67-year-old Robin Johnson for Marijuana Cultivation & Illegal Discharge at Marijuana Grow
- 67-year-old Daniel Musetti for Marijuana Cultivation & Illegal Discharge at Marijuana Grow
