On February 5, 2020 during the evening hours, members of the Murrieta / Temecula Regional Gang Task Force and the Central PACT Team conducted a probation search at a residence near the intersection of Tokay Road and Lakeview Terrace in Wildomar.  Several people were detained at the location.  One male resident identified as Ismael Benavides was found in possession of almost an ounce of methamphetamine and heroin.  A loaded shotgun along with ammunition was also recovered at Benavides’ residence.  He was arrested on several weapon and narcotic sales charges.  Two other subjects at the location were arrested on separate narcotic possession charges as well.
