02/18/2020:

During the course of this investigation, the decedents were positively identified as Jaime Covarrubias Espindola, 50 years old out of Perris, Jose Maria Aguilar-Espejel, 38 years old out of Perris, and Rodrigo Aguilar-Espejel, 28 years old also out of Perris. Notification to the families of the decedents has been made.

On Monday, February 17, 2020, deputies from the Perris Station responded to the 900 Block of N. Perris Blvd in the city of Perris in regard to a report of three males on the ground unresponsive. Deputies arrived and located three deceased male adults suffering from injuries. Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no perceived threat to the public. As the investigation continues additional information will be released. The identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification of the victim’s families.
