2/25/2020: Mr. Smith was located safely this morning.
On February 24, 2020, a Riverside County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a missing person call in the 7800 block of Virtue Vista Drive, in the City of Jurupa Valley. Deputies discovered Terrence Smith, 64 years-old, voluntarily left his residence on February 24, 2020, about 3:00p.m.
Mr. Smith is described as a White male, five feet seven inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds. He has grey hair and blue eyes. Mr. Smith was last seen wearing black shorts an orange shirt and no shoes. According to his caretaker, Mr. Smith suffers from dementia.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Aviation Unit and ground units were used to search for Mr. Smith, but he was not located. The search is continuing. The California Highway Patrol was contacted, and a Silver Alert was activated. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Smith is urged to call the Jurupa Valley Station at 951-955-2600, or the Riverside County Sheriff’s Dispatch at 951-776-1099.
