On Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at 08:45 PM, Deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to the 15000 block of Moreno Beach Drive regarding a carjacking. Deputies learned two elderly adults arrived home and were approached by an unknown black male adult. The suspect demanded the keys to their red, 2015 Nissan Versa (California License #SOBRN83). When the victims refused, a short struggle ensued, and the suspect forcefully took the vehicles keys and fled the area in the Nissan, leaving the victim’s with minor injuries. Medical aid was summoned for the victims and they were treated on scene. The suspect was described as a black male adult, 20 years old. At this time, the vehicle and suspect are still outstanding. This is an ongoing and active investigation.
