On March 2, 2020, at 1:08 PM, Sheriff’s officials received information a Palm Middle School teacher, 39-year-old Emily Wentworth, sent inappropriate and explicit messages to a student. Moreno Valley Station Investigators assumed the investigation. Investigators conducted interviews, collected evidence, and obtained a search warrant for Wentworth’s residence to collect digital media. The search warrant was served, and Wentworth was taken into custody without incident at her residence in Nuevo, CA. Wentworth was later booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for distributing harmful matter to a minor.
The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station will be vigilant in investigating all crimes.
