On Thursday, March 05, 2020, at approximately 7:08 P.M., deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant in the 1500 block of Conrad Place regarding an illegal indoor marijuana grow house, in the city of San Jacinto. During the warrant service deputies located nine makeshift grow rooms and 2702 marijuana plants at various stages of growth, 200 lbs. of processed marijuana, packaging, digital scales, 32 fans, 44 light and 41 ballast. California Edison responded and located an illegal electrical by-pass underneath the electrical meter. Edison estimated the theft of utilities at $85,000. JIngwei Zhen, a 45-year-old resident of Arcadia was detained running out of the residence without incident. He was later transported to Cois Byrd Detention Center and booked for Theft of utilities, Marijuana cultivation and Marijuana sales. This investigation is on-going.
