On March 12, 2020, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Riverside County Code Enforcement, California Water Board and Riverside County Animal Control, served four marijuana cultivation related search warrants in the unincorporated county area known as Anza.  During the service, 1393 marijuana plants were eradicated, and 200 pounds of processed marijuana was collected, for a total combined weight of approximately two tons.  One handgun and two generators were also collected for evidence.

The following suspects were arrested and booked for Marijuana Cultivation:

•    29-year-old Anza resident Hang Yang

•    21-year-old Moreno Valley resident Julio Morfin

•    29-year-old Moreno Valley resident Luis Morfin

•    32-year-old Haltom City, Texas resident Jefferson Soulivong

•    37-year-old Fresno resident Ratsavanh Thirakoune

•    23-year-old Jalisco Mexico resident Francisco Torres

•    39-year-old Haltom City, Texas resident Dy Vilay
