Details: 

On April 5, 2020, at 4:21 AM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a report of a pedestrian having been struck by a vehicle.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a Hispanic, Male, in his 30’s in the roadway who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle remained at the scene and provided information. The Moreno Valley Station’s Traffic Reconstruction Team responded and assumed the investigation. Both north and southbound lanes of traffic on Redlands Blvd. were closed between Dracaea Ave. and Encelia Ave. due to the investigation. The identity of the decedent is being withheld pending next of kin notification. No alcohol or drugs are believed to have been a factor.
