Details:
On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 2:01 PM, deputies from the San Jacinto Station responded to a call of a robbery in the 100 Block of South Ramona Blvd. in San Jacinto. Upon arrival they located a male adult suffering from a stab wound to his neck ,a laceration to his face and multiple lacerations to his hands.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he received treatment for his injuries. The victim told deputies that a male suspect walked into his business holding a knife and told him was going to “kill him,” and take merchandise from his store. A fight ensued and the victim suffered his injuries trying to defend himself.
On Thursday, April 23, 2020, at 9:10 AM, suspect Richard Clark Boyd age 50 from San Jacinto, surrender to deputies. Richard Boyd admitted to his involvement in the robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Richard Boyd was booked into the Smith Correction Facility on attempted murder and robbery charges.
