On Thursday, April 23rd, 2020, deputies from the Colorado River Station served a search warrant for an illegal marijuana grow in the 14000 block of Stephenson Boulevard in the unincorporated area of Blythe, California.
The search warrant was a result of the Palo Verde Valley Rural Crime Team discovering an illegal marijuana grow which lacked proper permits. During the service of the warrant, Deputies seized over 1300 marijuana plants with a total weight of over 1 ton. Two subjects were arrested at the location.
Under direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, the goal of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is to keep all our citizens safe, while also improving the quality of life for those residing within the community. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has a zero-tolerance policy for these offenses. If you suspect drug activity in your area, please contact your local Sheriff’s Station.
