Details:
On Friday, May 1, 2020 at 1742 hours, Palm Desert Station deputies responded to a report of a subject shooting at a moving vehicle within the Royal Palm gated community. There were numerous reports that the suspect, Rayshaun Devon Sinclair, 48 years, of Palm Desert, had shot numerous times at a fleeing vehicle. Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team, K-9 units, Gang Task Force, and patrol deputies responded to the residence where witnesses stated Sinclair ran into. Deputies apprehended the suspect without incident and recovered a stolen bolt action rifle and numerous rounds of ammunition inside the residence. Sinclair was booked at the Indio Jail.
