Details:

At the beginning of April, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Stations Problem Oriented Policing Team received complaints from the community of Alberhill Ranch regarding possible illegal sales of narcotics at a residence within the City of Lake Elsinore.

On May 06, 2020, at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, deputies served a search warrant in the 4000 block of Ballantree Way. Prior to the service of the warrant, Julio Quiroga (30 year old) resident of Lake Elsinore was detained. Located during the search of Julio Quiroga’s room was Methamphetamine, Heroin, OxyContin and Xanax pills, also located was a digital scale used for weighing illegal substances, excessive amounts of plastic baggies used for packaging illegal substances, syringes, and U.S. Currency.

Julio was arrested, and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center without incident for Illegal sale of narcotics, illegal sales of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Deputy McCracken at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station (951) 245-3300.
