Members of the Jurupa Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Teams (SET) representing the cities of Jurupa Valley and Eastvale have been aggressively targeting illegal indoor/outdoor marijuana grows throughout the cities of Jurupa Valley and Eastvale in 2020.
Deputies assigned to the SET received complaints from residents of the city of Jurupa Valley regarding a possible illegal outdoor marijuana cultivation. The SET Deputies investigated and determined that a property located on the 6300 block of Frank St. in the city of Jurupa Valley, had been converted to support an illegal outdoor marijuana cultivation and there was evidence that marijuana plants were harvested on the property.
On May 15, 2020, at 1700 hours, members from the Jurupa Valley station’s SET conducted a marijuana eradication search warrant at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco. SET Deputies served the search warrant and recovered a total amount of 315 marijuana plants. Jurupa Valley Code Enforcement were summoned to the location and they conducted their own separate investigations into various building code violations.
