On Monday, May 25, 2020, about 7:30 AM, deputies from the Cabazon Station were dispatched to a report of a residential burglary in the 9000 block of Mias Canyon Road. The victim was alerted to the burglary via video surveillance.
About 7:45 AM, deputies encountered a possible suspect vehicle fleeing the area on Mias Canyon Road and conducted a traffic stop. The four occupants in the vehicle were detained and stolen property from the burglary was located inside the vehicle. All property was recovered and returned to the victim at the scene.
During the investigation, Robert Rasha ( 38 years-old from Banning), Gabriel Price (25 years-old from Beaumont), Katherine Ellison (24 years-old from Banning), and Kathy Alcala (31 Years-old from Banning) were arrested for Residential Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Violation of Probation, and Possession of Stolen Property.
