On Wednesday, May 27th, 2020, at 5:00 P.M., the Moreno Valley Station’s Problem Oriented Policing Team served a narcotics search warrant at a business in the 24000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, in the city of Moreno Valley. The Problem Oriented Policing Team received numerous complaints regarding possible drug activity at the location. During the service of the search warrant, deputies located 2 ounces of marijuana, 11 grams of concentrated Marijuana, 2 vials of Anabolic Steroids, and a .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun. Deputies arrested 40-year-old Miguel Peralta and 31-year-old David Peralta, both residents of Moreno Valley. Miguel Peralta was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed, Possession of Marijuana for Sale, and Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale. David Peralta was charged with Possession of Marijuana for Sale, and Perjury. Miguel and David Peralta were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
