On Sunday, June 14th, 2020, about 11:22 AM, deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Station conducted a Post Release Community Service (PRCS) compliance search at a residence in the 3400 block of Skyline Drive, in Jurupa Valley. Deputies contacted two males at the residence, identified as 39-year-old, Rolando Gutierres and 41-year-old, Roberto Villareal Jr., both residents of Jurupa Valley. Deputies learned Gutierres and Villareal were out of custody on bail for unrelated felony charges. Deputies located a loaded shotgun, methamphetamine and several boxes of live shotgun ammunition. Gutierres and Villareal were later booked into custody at the Robert Presley Detention Center for the following charges:
Felons in possession of a loaded firearm
Possession of a loaded firearm with a controlled substance
New felony charges committed while on bail
Felons in possession of ammunition
Violation of PRCS terms
