Details:

On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at approximately 12:55 A.M., deputies from the San Jacinto Station responded to a residence in the 2800 Block of Placentia St., San Jacinto, in reference to a subject shooting at a residence. Investigation revealed two suspects, identified as 28-year-old Isaiah Knight and 36-year-old Elizabeth Perkins, both residents of Colorado Springs, Colorado, were visiting the residents at the house. Knight and Perkins became involved in an argument with the residents of the home that escalated into a physical fight. Knight and Perkins retrieved a firearm from their vehicle and fired several rounds toward the residence.

Upon arrival, deputies located several spent ammunition casings in the driveway of the residence. Perkins was detained without incident. Knight had entered the residence and refused deputies’ commands to surrender. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) responded to assist with taking Knight into custody. Knight was ultimately arrested and taken to a local hospital for treatment and clearance for booking.

Knight and Perkins were booked for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Discharging a Firearm at an Inhabited Dwelling.
