On Thursday, July 9, 2020, about 10:16 AM, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded to a report of a traffic collision involving two vehicles, on Etiwanda Avenue cross of Ryder Road, Jurupa Valley. 

Upon arrival, deputies located a male adult driver with major injuries in one of the vehicles involved. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Four other occupants in this vehicle, including two infants, were transported to local hospitals, where they are listed in stable condition. The driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle was also transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries. The Jurupa Valley Station’s Traffic Reconstruction Team is conducting a full investigation to determine the cause of the collision. No alcohol or drugs are believed to have been a factor in this collision.
