On July 14, 2020, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office Gang Impact Team (GIT) and the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force 4 received information on the location of an additional suspect in the city of Murrieta. At 9:00 p.m., members of both GIT and GTF 4 arrested Dean Marcum, 41 of Lake Elsinore, at a residence in the 34000 block of Antelope Rd., Murrieta. Marcum was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center. This investigation remains open and no further details will be released at this time.

On September 25, 2019, the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit (MCU) conducted surveillance on an additional suspect in the city of Lake Elsinore. At about 1510 hours, MCU arrested  Victor Lindzy , 48 years of Lake Elsinore, at his residence in the 16500 block of Joy St. Central Homicide Unit (CHU) investigators interviewed Lindzy and served a search warrant at Lindzy’s residence, where additional evidence was recovered. Lindzy was arrested for murder, torture and gang enhancements, and booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center. This investigation remains open and no further details will be released at this time. As this investigation has progressed, two additional suspects were identified and have been arrested for murder. Melissa Unger, 23 years of Lake Elsinore, was arrested on September 11, 2019, and Tyrone Jones, 37 years of Yorba Linda, was arrested on September 19, 2019. Both suspects have been booked into Riverside County Jails. This investigation remains open and no further details will be released at this time.

During the course of this investigation, four  suspects were identified. Three of the suspects: Christina Meza (30), Christian  Meza (28), and Alejandro Villegas (25), all from Lake Elsinore,  were arrested for Murder with Gang, Kidnapping and Torture enhancements. These  three suspects were booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center. The fourth  suspect, Roberto Camacho (43) of Lake Elsinore, is currently in custody  out of county, but will be transported to Riverside County and booked for the  same charges. This investigation remains open and no further details will be released at this time.

Update 08-20-2019:

The victim in this case was identified as Frery Coronel, 31 years of Wildomar.

Details:

On Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 7:55 PM, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station responded to a report of a deceased male, in an open area west of the roadway at S. Main Divide about 3.5 miles south of Ortega Highway. CAL Fire initially responded and pronounced the male deceased. Based on trauma found on the victim, a crime scene was secured, and the Central Homicide Unit responded. The victim has not been identified at this time. This investigation is on-going and no further information will be released at this time.
