On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, about 12:01 PM, deputies assigned to the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team (SET) conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Mistletoe Avenue, in the city of San Jacinto. Deputies contacted, Edward Hernandez, a 31-year-old resident of San Jacinto. Hernandez was found to be driving on a suspended license, in possession of approximately 77 grams of suspected methamphetamine, dozens of credit card blanks and over $27,000 in US Currency. A search of Hernandez’ vehicle and residence yielded additional drug paraphernalia, a credit card making machine and a rifle.
Hernandez was arrested for driving on a suspended license, possession of methamphetamine for sale and other charges related to the incident. Hernandez was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Deputy Brad Marshall at (951) 654-2702.
