Details:
On Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 3:07 AM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 24000 Block of Elder Ave. in Moreno Valley. Upon arrival they located a male adult suffering from a serious injury.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he received treatment for the injury. Unfortunately, the victim died as a result of his injury. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The victim was identified as Oscar Ivan Marquez, 32 years old out of Moreno Valley.
