Details:

On August 23, 2020 at 10:19 PM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of a Fatal Traffic Collision on Perris Boulevard near Gentian Avenue.  Callers reported a pedestrian was struck by a car and went through the windshield of the car.  Deputies arrived on scene an confirmed a male was deceased.   

The Moreno Valley Traffic Reconstruction Team arrived and assumed the investigation. 

Perris Boulevard between Gentian Avenue and Santiago Drive will remain closed for the duration of the investigation. 

The identity of the deceased subject is pending confirmation and notification to next of kin by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.  The identity of the driver and passenger of the vehicle involved will not be released at this time.  Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor.
