Details:

On Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, at 5:47 P.M., members of the Moreno Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop in the 23000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, in the city of Moreno Valley. Deputies contacted, Dreyon Grant, a 21-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. Grant gave deputies consent to search his vehicle. A subsequent search of Grant’s vehicle revealed a loaded semi-automatic handgun inside of the vehicle.

Grant was taken into custody and charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Possession of an Unregistered Firearm, and Possession of a Concealed Firearm in a Vehicle. Grant was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
