Details:
On Monday, November 30, 2020, about 1:36 PM, deputies from Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Perris Station responded to a major injury traffic collision near the intersection of Alderwood Way and Mariposa Way in the city of Perris. Deputies arrived within minutes and located a collision involving a green 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada and an unknown female pedestrian. The pedestrian suffered major injuries and life saving measures were performed. The pedestrian succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The identity of the pedestrian is not being released at this time. The driver of the Oldsmobile Bravada was transported to the Perris Sheriff Station for questioning. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision, the investigation is on-going.
The Perris Traffic Reconstruction Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation.
