On Friday, December 4, 2020, about 7:35 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Jurupa Valley Station, were dispatched to a report of a major injury traffic collision involving a silver 2006 Toyota Tundra and pedestrian, located at Mission Boulevard and Glen Street. Upon arrival, deputies located an unconscious white male adult in the roadway. Deputies began lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived.
The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Toyota Tundra remained at the scene and cooperative. He transported to the Jurupa Valley Station for questioning. At this time, it does not appear if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in this collision, the investigation is on-going.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Jurupa Valley Station Traffic Reconstruction Team responded and assumed the investigation. Mission Boulevard and Glen Street were closed for the duration of the investigation.
