On Thursday, December 10, 2020, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department served a narcotic related search warrant in the 2800 block of Hartley Parkway, in the City of San Jacinto. During the service of the search warrant it was discovered the residence had been converted into an illegal marijuana cultivation operation. The electrical meter had been bypassed, so the residents were able to steal electricity from Southern California Edison to run their illegal operation. Per Southern California Edison, preliminary estimate puts the theft of electricity to be over $25,000. Six rooms inside the residence had been converted into rooms to specifically grow marijuana. 692 marijuana plants were seized and submitted for destruction. The following subject was located during the service of the search warrant and was arrested for marijuana cultivation:

45 year old San Gabriel resident Feiyang Lei

Lei was booked into the Larry Smith Correctional Facility. Lei’s criminal charges include illegal marijuana cultivation and theft of electricity.
