Details:
On December 26, 2020, at about 4:01 a.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station were dispatched to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 37000 block of Calle de Lobo, La Cresta. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with two uninjured male residents. They were directed inside where deputies found four males with gunshot wounds. Two males had succumbed to their wounds, and two males were transported to a local hospital, also suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies secured the area as a crime scene and investigators from the Lake Elsinore Station responded. The Central Homicide Unit also responded and assumed the investigation.

At least one additional suspect fled the residence and drove away in an unknown make vehicle.
The identity of the two deceased males will not be released, pending notification to next of kin. The investigation is currently on-going and no further information will be released at this time.
