Details:

On Friday January 1, 2021 deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Jurupa Valley Station responded to a major injury, two vehicle traffic collision. Deputies arrived and located an unresponsive female driver in Jeep Cherokee. Life saving measures were performed and she was transported to a local hospital via ambulance. She later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. The passenger was ejected from the Jeep Cherokee as it rolled after being broadsided by a white BMW passenger vehicle. The passenger was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The sole occupant of the second vehicle, a white BMW was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision, the investigation is on-going. The identity of the involved parties is not being released at this time.

The Jurupa Valley Traffic Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation.
