On January 28, 2021, at 9:08 PM, Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Officers from Region 2 conducted a traffic stop on a U-Haul box van in the 600 block of American Avenue in the City of Beaumont. A record check of the U-Haul’s license plate confirmed the U-Haul was a reported stolen vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Demetrius Williams, a thirty-five-year-old resident of Long Beach. Williams was placed under arrest for being in possession of a stolen vehicle. There was a passenger in the U-Haul, identified as Tury Alvarado, a forty-six-year-old resident of Beaumont, who was also placed under arrest for possession of narcotics.

A search of the U-Haul was conducted, and Gang Task Force Officers located several thousands of dollars of counterfeit one hundred-dollar bills. Gang Task Force Officers also located scanners, cleaning agents, stolen checks, and stolen mail.
