Details:
On March 2, 2021, about 3:40 p.m., a felony sexual assault incident occurred at a residence on the 41000 block of Zinfandel Ave. in the city of Temecula. An unidentified adult male took off his clothing, went into the back yard of the residence and sexually assaulted two adult females who were sunbathing. The male subject clothed himself, left the property on foot and the victims called 911. Deputies and investigators arrived and eventually located the suspect, Jacob Paulsen, who was identified by the two female victims. Paulsen was arrested for felony sexual assault and booked at the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center with bail set at $500,000.00.
The investigation is currently on-going. Paulsen is a person of interest in another ongoing sexual assault investigation. If anyone has information in regards to this incident, or any other, they are encouraged to call Investigator Cornett at the Southwest Station at 951-696-3000.
