On Tuesday May 07, 2019, about 8:30 PM, members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force, Region-7, investigated a shooting that occurred in the 5000 block of Troth St. in Jurupa Valley. No one was struck or injured during the shooting. After a lengthy investigation, Task Force Officers determined the shooting was gang related and identified 25-year-old Riverside resident, Francisco Daniel Alvarez, as the person responsible for the shooting. Alvarez was identified as being an active member to a local criminal street gang. During a follow-up investigation, Task Force Officers learned Alvarez was also responsible for another gang related shootings that occurred on March 29, 2019 within the Jurupa Valley area.
