Details:
In March of 2021, a local Recreational Vehicle (RV) park, in the city of Lake Elsinore, saw a substantial increase in bicycle thefts. Deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Station Special Enforcement Team (SET) assumed the investigation.
On March 10, 2021, the Lake Elsinore Station SET served a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Oriole Court, in the city of Lake Elsinore.
During the service of the search warrant, over thirty bicycles, two stolen vehicles, narcotics, and other items common with theft were recovered.
Alfonso Suarez, age 35, a resident of Lake Elsinore was transported to Cois Byrd Detention Center and booked on the charges of possession of narcotics and possession of stolen property.
